We loved the badger cam at breakfast 😍, such a unique touch! The location was perfect for exploring Grasmere. Just beware of the shower drainage, it could use some improvement.

We had a lovely stay in the Fellside Suite. I adored the beautiful views of the garden and fells. The sauna was amazing after a chilly walk, and I loved the eco-friendly toiletries they provided. The comfy seating area was perfect for unwinding with a good book!

We had a fab time in the Garden Suite! Super clean, cozy, and loved having our own entrance. The location is perfect, just a stroll to the village. Breakfast at the local pub was delish. Only thing was the shower felt a bit tight for my size. Still, can’t wait to bring our pups back!

I loved the luxurious bath tub in my room, which was ideal for relaxing after a day outdoors. The attention to detail was impressive, especially with the helpful items available for excursions. it was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

This place suits me perfectly, providing free parking, wi-fi, and a cozy bar lounge area. The staff once helped me find my lost necklace, showcasing their caring nature. I highly recommend staying here. I’m coming back for a xmas!

I stayed in the Riverside Apartment and it was so spacious! The views were fantastic, especially the little glimpse of the lake. I loved the cozy vibe and the bathroom was super spacious. Everything was very clean and provided for a comfortable short break. A small kitchen area was perfect for making breakfast. It was great having the lake just a short walk away too! Only minor annoyance was some noise from the wooden floors above. a nice spot to relax with family and our dogs.

We enjoyed the huge room along with the expansive ensuite bathroom, which provided ample space. The included kitchenette made breakfast preparation easy and convenient during our stay.

Clearer instructions for using the kitchenette would have been helpful.

stunning views and perfect access for city explorations

I had a relaxing stay in a spacious King room with mountain view, which offered a perfect start to my leisurely strolls around the nearby gorgeous parks, with Rydal Water just about 2.5 km away and Allan Bank only less than a 1 km walk. the hosts were exceptional, providing plenty of useful walking maps and helpful tips for nearby attractions which made my explorations even more enjoyable.

The cozy bathroom had a lovely skylight, but the heating was hard to adjust.

I absolutely loved the spacious Fellside Suite with its luxurious bathroom that made me feel like royalty! Lake View Country House exudes charm with its beautifully renovated décor and tranquil gardens. The peaceful location, tucked away at the end of a lane, provided lovely views and easy access to stunning lakeside walks, ideal for seniors.

Shower facilities could be improved for comfort.

The place had this fantastic big balcony with views of the lake and I could see these lambs frolicking around on the farm down the road, made the experience much better. Also their breakfast. man, the deluxe porridge was unlike anything I ever tasted hungry after a long day outdoors, just what I needed to start the day right.

It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly but you know what they say about quality.

The decor was a delightful blend of rustic charm and modern comforts, making every corner of our Treetop Room feel like a cozy retreat. The private path to Lake Grasmere was perfect for our scenic morning walks, bringing us closer to nature's beauty. Plus, the badger cam at breakfast was such a fun surprise. it made our mornings even more special with wildlife right outside the window!
